When you use LetzWin, we collect the following information:

• Account data: email address, name, username, date of birth, gender, location
• Profile data: avatar photo, sport preferences, skill levels
• Activity data: match history, results, rankings, messages
• Technical data: browser type, IP address, device information (for security and analytics)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve the Platform
• Match you with other players
• Calculate and display rankings (ELO scores)
• Send notifications about matches and friend requests
• Ensure platform security and prevent abuse

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud-hosted PostgreSQL database with row-level security. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your profile information (name, username, avatar, sport levels, rankings) is visible to other registered users of the Platform. We may share data with:

• Supabase: database and authentication provider
• Vercel: hosting provider
• Resend: email notification service (your email address only)

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectification: update or correct your data via your profile settings
• Erasure: delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page
• Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format
• Object: opt out of non-essential data processing

6. Cookies

LetzWin uses essential cookies only for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The Supabase authentication system stores a session token in your browser's local storage.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized match results may be retained for ranking integrity.

8. Children

LetzWin is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
